Derby Day 2008!

The smell of burning rubber and the sound of spinning tires filled the Tatnall lower school gymnasium on January 26th during the running of the Pack 230 2008 Pinewood Invitational.  Or, it could have been the smell of hotdogs and the shouts of Scouts urging on their cars.  Either way, this year's race was as exciting as they come with dozens of photo finishes and winning margins measured well to the right of the decimal point.

Kudos to all our Scouts, family members, and special guests who worked so hard on their unique and beautiful cars. Special thanks to all those who helped with preparation, setup, and cleanup for this great event.  Congratulations to all those won Pinewood awards.  Finally, congratulations to all racers and spectators for demonstrating good sportsmanship!
